A lifelong Alaskan, I was born and raised in the Golden Heart of Fairbanks.  My journey in the world of finance began at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where I embarked on a path that would eventually lead me to become a certified public accountant (CPA currently inactive). With a strong educational foundation, I honed my skills and set out on a career that has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding.

For the first four years of my career, I delved into the world of public accounting as a financial auditor. This experience allowed me to gain invaluable insights into the financial workings of various organizations, providing me with a unique perspective that I carry with me to this day. Subsequently, I dedicated six years of my career to a large local nonprofit, where I was fortunate enough to contribute to meaningful causes that touched the lives of Alaskans in countless ways. 

Outside the world of numbers and spreadsheets, you can often find me embracing the great Alaskan outdoors. Hiking through our stunning landscapes and immersing myself in the rugged beauty of the wilderness is where I find peace and inspiration. My dogs, faithful companions on these adventures, ensure that every day is an opportunity for exploration and joy.
